Yeah my mom is the best cook (well you might say yours is the best but that’s fine 😋) the point being the cooking by mum is just incomparable I mean the taste the love and the magic she puts in every thing well one just can’t describe.
Why am I writing this today…
Well we tend to remember the good things in life when they are not present
So my mum is gone out to meet my mama (maternal uncle) so she left early today and I was left with the daunting task of making food for myself …usually I do cooking but that’s only occasionally… So today I decided let’s make dosa( Indian pancakes) and I started so after one my confidence grew I tried the second and that worked too but the third was disaster it went all black 😬😬😬 and my pan gave up I tried another one and it just increased my frustration…. Finally I gave up and now making simple idli (guess I’ll give it my twist with something in my style)
Let’s see how it turns out….

It’s only dish which I can make exactly similar as my mum does. šš specially the sambhar part. Dosa making can be tricky. Specially the batter. It’s been months now. The taste of amazingly tasty sambhar made by mum/me. I miss it. š

Sambhar isn’t my forte :p but yeah dosa making is tricky more than batter the stupid pan makes a lot of difference and my nonstick is all sticky …Btw u can hop home and ask ur mum to make some for you š

You simply can’t separate Dosa from sambhar. They r made for each other. And I think batter part is tricky. If batter is perfect, then even a beginner can make a Dosa. Anyways. No chances of going home any soon. May be next year.

Now that’s sarcasm. I know he loves his privacy bcz I stalked him for months on fb. His privacy setting was way more strict. Even mine lacks that much privacy setting. U can tell a lot about people just by looking at their social networking profiles.

Well,I had the batter prepared by my aunti(she cooks expertly,by the way).All I did was spread it. And it wasn’t half bad.:P
